Wyatt McCubbin
Songwriter/Artist
Ohio-native Wyatt McCubbin is making a name for himself as a revered young artist and songwriter
in Nashville, TN. He first planted his roots in country music as a teen radio DJ at a classic country
station. Wyatt made regular trips from Ohio to Nashville, writing with and gaining support from some
of Nashville’s top songwriters before making the full-time move. In 2020, he signed a joint venture
deal with Tape Room Music and 50 Egg Music, supported by songwriter/producers Ashley Gorley
and Jonathan Singleton. Wyatt’s country, blues, and soul influences have helped him create his very
own sound of country music - celebrating the classics while incorporating modern elements.
Thinking back on his earliest memories of music he says, “as a kid I remember hearing everything
from Merle Haggard and Alan Jackson to Bonnie Raitt and Joe Cocker through the speakers of my
dad’s old cassette player. My mom and dad raised me on all kinds of music, but it all had one thing
in common, it all had soul.” His songs have been recorded and released by artists in the Nashville
and Texas scenes, such as Dustin Lynch, Cody Johnson, Riley Green, Tracy Lawrence, Brent Cobb,
Josh Ward, Drew Parker, and many others. Wyatt has performed with and opened for artists such as
Merle Haggard, George Jones, Charlie Daniels, Hank Williams Jr, Midland, Riley Green, and more.
He has recently joined Kameron Marlowe on his “We Were Cowboys” tour, coined after a song the
two wrote together. Wyatt’s music can be found on all streaming platforms, including fan favorite,
“This Pickup.”
