Wyatt McCubbin

Wyatt McCubbin is a singer-songwriter originally from Selma, Ohio, who is now making his home in Nashville, TN. Thinking back on his earliest memories of music he says, “as a kid I remember hearing everything from Merle Haggard and Alan Jackson to Bonnie Raitt and Joe Cocker through the speakers of my dad’s old cassette player. My mom and dad raised me on all kinds of music, but it all had one thing in common, it all had soul.” Wyatt always loved music, but it wasn’t until he broke his arm playing middle school football that he decided to pick up a guitar for therapy and learn to play. Wyatt’s country, blues, and soul influences have helped him create his very own brand of country music. After graduating high school, Wyatt started making regular trips from Ohio to Nashville writing with and gaining support from some of Nashville’s top songwriters as both a writer and an artist. As a songwriter, Wyatt has had his songs recorded by artists such as Tracy Lawrence, Cody Johnson, Brent Cobb, Josh Ward, Drew Parker and many others. As an artist, Wyatt has performed with and opened for artists such as Merle Haggard, George Jones, Charlie Daniels, Dwight Yoakum, Easton Corbin, The Kentucky Headhunters, Josh Turner and more. He has also headlined his own shows from Ohio & surrounding states to Texas, Florida, Arizona and more.
