Taylor Phillips

Songwriter/Artist

The varied social and economical tides of Sanford, North Carolina is where Taylor Phillips emerged into the songwriter he is today. With a lifetime of labor, love, family, triumphs, and pitfalls, Taylor’s life rang out like many of the choruses that had been penned on 16th Avenue South for the last 65 years. Taylor landed in Nashville, TN in 2013 and, by way of southern country boy wit and grit, quickly made his way into the music industry. From this point forward Taylor began to carve out and solidify his own network of artists, songwriters, publishers, and friends within the country music industry. Phillips has collaborated with some of Music CIty’s biggest names, cowriting smash #1 hits “Good As You” and “Homesick” by Kane Brown and “Hurricane” by Luke Comb. His recent radio charters include “Up” by Luke Bryan, “Rolex On A Redneck” by Brantley Gilbert and Jason Aldean, and “Country Looks Good On You” by Frank Ray. In 2020, Phillips joined the Tape Room Music family in partnership with Warner Chappell Music Nashville, where he continues to hone his craft and write quality songs with quality songwriters. He continues to release projects of his own, including his latest song, “Good Out Here,” featuring UPCHURCH.
